If you are traveling by car, start your journey from Joshimath. Take the NH7 and proceed towards Govindghat. From Govindghat, you will need to park your vehicle as private cars are not allowed beyond this point. Expect parking fees around INR 100-200 per day. After parking, you must trek to Ghangaria, which is approximately 13 km away from Govindghat. This trek can take around 6-7 hours. Ensure you carry enough water and snacks for the trek.

To reach Jhandi Top via public transportation, take a bus from Rishikesh or Haridwar to Joshimath. From Joshimath, take a shared taxi to Govindghat. The fare for the bus is approximately INR 500-700, and the shared taxi to Govindghat costs around INR 100-150 per person. Once in Govindghat, follow the same procedure as mentioned for cars: park your vehicle and trek approximately 13 km to Ghangaria. Upon reaching Ghangaria, Jhandi Top is a short trek uphill, approximately 3 km from there.
