Car
If you're traveling by car from the Valley of Flowers National Park, you should first head towards the town of Joshimath. From the park entrance, take the road that leads to Joshimath, which is approximately 24 kilometers away. Once you reach Joshimath, continue on the NH58 towards Urgam. After about 10 kilometers, you will see signs for Urgam village. Once in Urgam, park your car at the designated parking area. The temple is about a 3-kilometer trek from Urgam. Follow the well-marked trail leading towards Shri Kalpeshwar Mandir. Be prepared for a moderate walk through beautiful landscapes.

Public Transportation
If you prefer public transportation, take a bus from Govindghat to Joshimath, which operates regularly. The journey typically takes about 1 hour and costs around INR 50-100. Once you reach Joshimath, you can either hire a taxi or take a local shared jeep to Urgam, which should cost around INR 300-500 and takes about 30 minutes. After reaching Urgam, you will need to walk approximately 3 kilometers to reach Shri Kalpeshwar Mandir. The path is well-trodden, and you can ask locals for directions if needed.
