Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are at the Varanasi Junction Railway Station, exit the station and head towards the main road. Take a left onto Station Road and walk straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach Godowlia Chowk. From Godowlia Chowk, head towards Dashashwamedh Ghat, which is approximately 1 kilometer away. Upon reaching Dashashwamedh Ghat, continue walking along the riverbank towards Harishchandra Ghat. Lali Ghat will be located just a short distance past Harishchandra Ghat, on your left. Look for signs or ask locals for assistance if needed.

  • Rickshaw

    From your current location in Varanasi, you can hire an auto-rickshaw to take you to Lali Ghat. Simply tell the driver 'Lali Ghat near Harishchandra Ghat'. The ride should take around 15 to 20 minutes depending on traffic. The rickshaw will drop you off near Harishchandra Ghat, from where you can walk to Lali Ghat which is very close. Make sure to agree on the fare before starting your journey.
