Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving, start from Kolkata, the capital of West Bengal. Head towards NH12, which will take you through Barasat, and then continue towards Krishnanagar. From Krishnanagar, follow the signs towards Berhampore on NH12. After reaching Berhampore, take the route towards Baharampur and then to Malda. From Malda, continue towards the town of Raiganj. From Raiganj, take the road towards Bhalka Forest. The exact location is HVPJ+2HV, Bhalka Forest, West Bengal 736203, which is the Easternmost point of West Bengal.

• Train

  To reach the Easternmost point by train, board a train from Kolkata to Malda Town or Raiganj, both of which are well-connected with regular services. Once you arrive at either station, you can hire a local taxi or auto-rickshaw to reach Bhalka Forest. The distance from Malda to Bhalka Forest is approximately 50 km and can take around 1-2 hours depending on traffic.

• Public Bus

  You can also take a public bus from Kolkata to Malda or Raiganj. Buses depart frequently from the Esplanade area. After reaching Malda or Raiganj, you will need to take a local taxi or auto-rickshaw to reach the Easternmost point, which is located at HVPJ+2HV, Bhalka Forest, West Bengal 736203. The bus fare will vary but generally ranges from INR 300 to INR 600 depending on the service.

• Taxi/Auto-rickshaw
