Car
If you are driving from downtown Indianapolis, head northwest on W Washington St toward N Illinois St. Continue on I-65 N and I-465 N to N Michigan Rd in Marion County. Take exit 27 from I-465 N. Merge onto N Michigan Rd and continue for about 6 miles. Turn right onto W 86th St and follow for about 2 miles before turning left onto Cane Ridge Ct. The Historic Coan Lea Log Cabin will be located on your right.

To reach the Historic Coan Lea Log Cabin via public transportation, start by taking the IndyGo bus from downtown Indianapolis. Board the Route 18 bus (which runs to the northwest side) and ride until you reach the Michigan Rd & 86th St stop. From there, you will need to walk approximately 0.5 miles (about 10 minutes) west on W 86th St, then turn left onto Cane Ridge Ct. The cabin will be located a short distance ahead on your right. Note that bus fares typically cost $1.75 for a single ride, so plan accordingly.
