From downtown Gary, walk to the nearest bus stop on 5th Avenue and board the Gary Public Transit bus route 10 heading towards Chicago. Stay on the bus for approximately 40 minutes until you reach the South Shore Line station in Hammond. Transfer to the South Shore Line train towards Millennium Station in Chicago. After about 50 minutes, disembark at the Millennium Station. From there, exit the station and walk north on Michigan Avenue for about 0.5 miles until you reach 875 N Michigan Ave.
