Follow the signs for Gary and take exit 4A toward Lake St. Merge onto Lake St and continue straight. You will see IDNP Miller Woods at 47-75 N Lake St, Gary, IN 46403. There is on-site parking available, but be aware that some areas may require a parking fee.

For those using public transportation, take the South Shore Line train from various Calumet Region stations towards Millennium Station in Chicago. Get off at the Gary Metro Center station. From there, you can take a local bus (Gary Public Transportation Corp) Route 10 towards Miller Beach. Disembark at the Lake St & 3rd Ave stop. IDNP Miller Woods is a short walk from there, just head east on Lake St for about 0.5 miles to reach the park entrance.

Follow bike paths that lead you to Lake St. Once you reach Lake St, head north until you arrive at 47-75 N Lake St, Gary, IN 46403.
