    If you're starting from the Gary Public Library located at 220 W 5th Ave, head west on 5th Ave for about 2 blocks until you reach Broadway. Turn right (north) on Broadway and walk for approximately 0.5 miles until you reach 4th Ave. Turn left (west) onto 4th Ave and continue walking for a few blocks until you reach 200 W 4th Ave, where the Downtown Art and History Fitness Trail is located.

    From the Gary Metro Center located at 100 W 4th Ave, board the GPTC bus route that goes towards the Downtown area. Get off at the stop closest to 4th Ave and Broadway.
