If you're driving to Founders Park from anywhere in The Dunes, start by getting onto IN-49 N. Continue on IN-49 N until you reach the intersection with US-30. Take US-30 E and merge onto I-65 N. Follow I-65 N for about 20 miles, then take exit 123A to merge onto I-465 E toward Cincinnati. After about 10 miles, take exit 27 for Keystone Ave. Continue on Keystone Ave for 5 miles, then turn left onto E 116th St. After 2 miles, turn right onto Hazel Dell Pkwy. Founders Park will be on your right at 11675 Hazel Dell Pkwy, Carmel, IN 46033. Parking is usually available on-site.

To reach Founders Park via public transportation, you can take a bus from The Dunes to the nearest transit center. First, board the bus that goes to the South Shore Line train station. Purchase a ticket which typically costs around $5. Once at the station, take the South Shore train towards Chicago. Disembark at the Hammond station and transfer to a bus heading to Carmel. The total travel time might take about 2 hours, and expect to pay approximately $10 for the bus fare. Once you arrive in Carmel, walk to Founders Park located at 11675 Hazel Dell Pkwy.
