From The Dunes, head east on US-12 E. Continue for about 7 miles until you reach the intersection with IN-49 N. Take a right onto IN-49 N and follow it for approximately 4 miles. Take the exit for US-30 W toward Valparaiso. Continue on US-30 W for about 3 miles. Turn left onto W Morthland Dr, and after about 0.5 miles, you will arrive at Rock Island, located at 2168 W Morthland Dr, Valparaiso, IN 46385. There is usually no parking fee, but make sure to check local signage for any restrictions.
Public Transportation
Start by taking the South Shore Line train from the Dune Park station towards Chicago. Get off at the Valparaiso station. From there, you can catch a local bus (Bus Route 26) that takes you towards Valparaiso.
