Car
From Surabaya, take the Jl. Tol Surabaya-Mojokerto highway and continue towards Malang. Exit at Malang and follow the signs for Jl. Raya Tumpang. Continue on Jl. Raya Tumpang until you reach the intersection with Jl. Benjor. Turn right onto Jl. Benjor, and drive for about 3 kilometers. Look for signs to Coban Cinde, which will be on your left. The total drive will take approximately 2.5 hours.
Public Transportation
From Surabaya, head to the Bungurasih Bus Station and take a bus to Malang. The bus fare is around IDR 30,000-50,000. Once you reach Malang, transfer to an angkot (minibus) heading to Tumpang. This will cost approximately IDR 10,000. Ask the driver to drop you off at the Benjor junction. From there, you can either walk (about 2 km) or hire a local ojek (motorcycle taxi) for around IDR 20,000 to reach Coban Cinde.
Private Vehicle Hire
For convenience, consider hiring a private driver. You can arrange this through local travel agencies or hotels. Rates typically start from IDR 500,000 for a full day, which includes transportation from your location in East Java to Coban Cinde and back.
