Car
Start your journey from Banyuwangi city center. Take Jalan Raya Banyuwangi towards the east, follow the signs for the Taman Nasional Baluran. After approximately 30 km, turn right onto Jalan Raya Kalipait. Continue for about 10 km until you reach the junction with Jalan Kutorejo. Turn left onto Jalan Kutorejo and proceed for 5 km. Your destination, the Easternmost Point of Java, will be located at coordinates 7JM4+246, Kutorejo, Kalipait, Kec. Tegaldlimo.
Public Transportation
From Banyuwangi, take a public minibus (angkot) heading towards Tegaldlimo. The fare is approximately IDR 15,000. Inform the driver that you want to get off at Kutorejo. Once you arrive in Kutorejo, you may need to walk about 1 km to reach the Easternmost Point of Java at the provided coordinates. Alternatively, you can hire a motorcycle taxi (ojek) for around IDR 10,000 to take you directly to the location.
Motorcycle Rental
If you prefer more flexibility, consider renting a motorcycle in Banyuwangi. Rental prices typically range from IDR 70,000 to IDR 100,000 per day. Follow the same driving directions as mentioned above. Make sure to wear a helmet and have an international driving permit, as it is required for riding in Indonesia.
