If you are driving from Waingapu, the capital of East Sumba, head east on Jalan El Tari towards Jalan Pantai Walakiri. After approximately 26 km, you will reach a junction. Turn left onto Jalan Walakiri and continue for about 3 km until you see signs for Pantai Walakiri. The beach will be on your right. Ensure your vehicle has enough fuel, as petrol stations may not be frequent.

From Waingapu, take a public minivan (angkot) heading to Pantai Walakiri. These vehicles can be found near the main market in Waingapu. The fare should be around IDR 20,000 to 30,000 per person.
