If you are traveling by car, head towards the city of Waingapu on Sumba Island. From Waingapu, take the main road south towards Kodi. The journey will take approximately 2-3 hours depending on traffic and road conditions. As you approach Kodi, look for signs directing you to Pero Batang, where Pero Beach is located. The final stretch will involve a smaller road that leads to the beach area itself. There may be some rough patches, so a 4WD vehicle is recommended for better access.

Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, first take a minibus (angkot) or bus from Waingapu to Kodi. Buses run regularly and cost around IDR 50,000 to IDR 100,000 depending on the service. The journey will take about 2-3 hours. Once in Kodi, you can either rent a motorcycle or take a local ojek (motorcycle taxi) to Pero Batang. The ojek ride will cost around IDR 20,000 to IDR 30,000. Inform the driver that you want to go to Pero Beach, and they will take you directly there.
