Getting There
Local Boat Transfer
To get to Carribean Beach, start your journey by taking a local boat from Bali to Gili Islands. Boats typically depart from Padangbai Harbor or Amed Harbor. The journey will take about 1.5 to 2 hours and costs around IDR 400,000 to IDR 600,000 per person. Once you arrive at Gili Trawangan, you will need to transfer to another boat or take a horse-drawn cart to Gili Meno or Gili Air, depending on your accommodation.
Walking or Cycling
Once you are on Gili Trawangan, rent a bicycle or walk to the jetty. From there, you will need to take a boat to Gili Air and then to Gili Indah. The boat ride will take approximately 15 minutes, costing around IDR 100,000 per person. Once you arrive at Gili Indah, you can walk to Carribean Beach, which is located along Jl. Pantai. Follow the road that runs parallel to the beach until you see the signs for Carribean Beach. The walk will take approximately 10-15 minutes.
Horse Cart
If you prefer not to walk, you can hire a horse-drawn cart (cidomo) from the harbor on Gili Indah. This is a common mode of transport on the islands. The ride will cost around IDR 150,000 and will take you directly to Carribean Beach. Make sure to negotiate the fare upfront and confirm the drop-off point.
