Ferry and Car
From the Gili Islands, take a ferry from either Gili Trawangan, Gili Meno, or Gili Air to Bangsal Harbor on Lombok. The ferry ride takes about 30-45 minutes and costs around IDR 15,000 to IDR 35,000 depending on the operator. Once you arrive at Bangsal Harbor, you will need to take a car or motorcycle taxi (ojek) to Senaru, which is the nearest village to Mount Rinjani National Park. The drive from Bangsal to Senaru takes approximately 1-1.5 hours and the cost should be around IDR 150,000 to IDR 250,000.

Alternatively, after arriving at Bangsal Harbor, you can take a public bus to Mataram. From there, you’ll need to switch to a taxi or another bus heading towards Senaru. The public bus to Mataram costs around IDR 20,000 and takes about 1 hour. Once in Mataram, the taxi to Senaru will cost approximately IDR 200,000 to IDR 300,000 and may take another hour to reach your destination.
