From Mendi, head south on the Mendi-Kandep road for approximately 40 kilometers. After about 30 minutes, you will reach a junction; take the right fork towards the Mul-Baiyer area. Continue for another 40 kilometers until you reach the village of Baiyer. Here, you will need to leave your car and arrange a local guide to take you closer to Mount Bosavi, as the road conditions can become impassable. Be prepared for a potentially rough ride, and ensure your vehicle has good clearance.
