If you're driving from Medan, take the Jalan Lintas Sumatera highway towards Parapat. Follow the signs to Toba Samosir. After approximately 4-5 hours of travel, you will reach the town of Parapat. Once in Parapat, navigate to Jl. Siborong Borong - Parapat. The location for Danau Toba Parapat is at MWMG+GCG, which is easily accessible and well-marked. Look for parking areas near the waterfront.

Public Transportation (Bus)
From Medan, you can take a bus from the Amplas Bus Terminal to Parapat. The journey takes about 5-6 hours. Upon arrival at Parapat, you can either walk or take a local ojek (motorcycle taxi) to Danau Toba Parapat located at Jl. Siborong Borong - Parapat. The cost of the bus ticket is approximately IDR 60,000 to IDR 100,000. An ojek ride will cost around IDR 20,000 to IDR 30,000.

For a more local experience, consider taking a minibus (angkot) from Medan to Parapat. These minibuses leave from various points in Medan and will drop you off in Parapat. The journey can take 6-7 hours. From the drop-off point in Parapat, hire an ojek to reach Danau Toba Parapat. The total cost for the minibus is about IDR 70,000 to IDR 120,000, plus the ojek fare.
