Walking
If you are starting from the center of Makassar, head towards Jl. Penghibur. You can ask locals for directions to Jl. Penghibur, as it is a well-known street. Once you reach Jl. Penghibur, continue walking along the road until you reach Maloku, which is the area where Losari Beach Platform is located. The beach platform will be visible, and you can enjoy the scenic view of the beach and the sunset.
Public Transportation (Bajay)
Find a Bajay (a small motorcycle taxi) at a nearby road or ask locals to help you find one. Tell the driver to take you to Losari Beach by saying 'Losari Beach Platform' or 'Maloku, Jl. Penghibur.' The driver will know the way and it should take about 10-15 minutes depending on traffic. Once you arrive, you will be dropped off near the beach platform.
Public Transportation (Angkot)
Locate an Angkot (public minivan) that goes towards the Ujung Pandang area. You can find Angkots near major intersections or bus stops. Get on and ask the driver to drop you off at the Losari Beach area. The fare is usually very affordable. Once you get off, walk toward Jl. Penghibur, and you will find the Losari Beach Platform nearby.
