If you are driving from the center of Samarinda, head east on Jl. Diponegoro towards Jl. Slamet Riyadi. Continue straight for about 3 kilometers, then turn left onto Jl. Slamet Riyadi. Mahakam Lampion Garden will be on your right at No.75. Parking is available on-site, and this is generally free of charge.

Take a local bus from the main bus terminal in Samarinda (Terminal Citra Niaga) heading towards Sungai Kunjang. Request the driver to drop you off at the Jl. Slamet Riyadi stop. From there, it's a short 300-meter walk to reach Mahakam Lampion Garden, which will be on your right at No.75. The bus fare is approximately IDR 5,000.
