Car
To reach Sarambu Waterfall by car, start from Rantepao, the main town in Tana Toraja. Head south on Jalan Poros Rantepao-Makale towards Bittuang. After about 10 kilometers, keep an eye out for signs pointing to Kandua. Turn left onto the road leading to Kandua, which is a scenic route passing through lush greenery. Continue for approximately 8 kilometers until you reach a small parking area near the waterfall entrance. From the parking area, it’s a short walk of about 500 meters down a well-trodden path to the waterfall itself.

Public Transportation
If you're using public transportation, you can take a mini-bus or 'angkot' from Rantepao to Bittuang. Look for an angkot that is heading in the direction of Makale, and inform the driver of your destination, Sarambu Waterfall. The fare is usually around 10,000 IDR. After a 30-minute ride, ask to be dropped off at the junction for Kandua. From there, you will need to walk approximately 2 kilometers along the road to reach the waterfall. Make sure to ask locals for directions if needed; they are generally very helpful.
