From Ubud, head south on Jl. Raya Ubud towards Jl. Raya Pengosekan. Continue straight on Jl. Raya Ubud for approximately 15 km until you reach the town of Padangbai. From Padangbai, take the ferry to Nusa Penida, which takes about 30 minutes and costs around IDR 70,000 to IDR 100,000 per person. Once you arrive at Nusa Penida, you can either rent a scooter or hire a local driver. If renting a scooter, head southwest towards Pejukutan. Follow the signs for Molenteng, which is located on Unnamed Road. The total journey from Ubud to Molenteng may take around 2 to 3 hours, depending on traffic and ferry schedules.

From Ubud, take a local bus or shuttle service to Padangbai. Look for buses leaving from Ubud's central bus station; the cost is usually around IDR 50,000. Once you reach Padangbai, buy a ticket for the ferry to Nusa Penida (IDR 70,000 to IDR 100,000). After arriving at Nusa Penida, you can use local transportation options such as bemos (shared taxis) or hire a motorbike taxi to take you to Molenteng. The local drivers are familiar with the area and can take you directly to Molenteng on Unnamed Road in Pejukutan.
