From Ubud, start by heading south on Jl. Raya Ubud. After about 10 km, take a slight left onto Jl. Raya Sakah, then merge onto the Bali Mandara Toll Road. Continue on the toll road until you reach the exit for Nusa Dua. From Nusa Dua, follow the signs to Sanur and then take the ferry to Nusa Penida. The ferry ride takes approximately 30-40 minutes and costs around IDR 75,000-100,000 per person. Once you arrive at Nusa Penida, drive or take a taxi to Sampalan Beach, which is about a 30-minute trip from the harbor.
