Car

From Ubud, head southeast on Jl. Raya Ubud. Continue on this road for about 10 kilometers until you reach the T-junction at Jl. Tirta Tawar. Turn right onto Jl. Tirta Tawar and drive for about 5 kilometers. You will then begin to see signs for The Gate of Heaven. Follow the signs and continue driving until you reach Desa Purwayu, Tri Buana, Kec. Abang, where The Gate of Heaven is located. There is a parking area available near the entrance.

Take a local bemo (minibus) from Ubud to Amlapura, the capital of Karangasem Regency. Bemos depart from the Ubud market area. The fare is around IDR 20,000-40,000.
