Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, you can reach Ujung Kulon National Park by following these directions: Start from Jakarta and head towards Serang via the Jakarta-Merak toll road (approximately 1.5 to 2 hours). From Serang, take the road towards Pandeglang. Continue your journey to Sumur, which is the closest town to the park entrance. The last leg will take you from Sumur to the park entrance at Ujungjaya. Make sure to have a GPS or map app handy to navigate the local roads. Parking is available at the entrance, and it's advisable to check for any entry fees beforehand.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Ujung Kulon National Park using public transportation, begin your journey at Jakarta's Terminal Kampung Rambutan. From there, take a bus to Serang. The bus ride takes about 2 to 3 hours.
