Getting There

• Bicycle

  If you are in Ankeny and want to cycle to Reiman Gardens in Ames, start at the center of Ankeny, near the Ankeny Market & Pavilion. Head south on SE 16th St, and take the right onto SE Delaware Ave. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with I-35. Cross over the highway and continue on SE 18th St until you reach the intersection with US-69. Turn left onto US-69 heading south. Follow this road for about 9 miles until you reach Ames. Once you're in Ames, turn right onto University Blvd. Reiman Gardens will be on your left at 1407 University Blvd.

• Public Transit

  To reach Reiman Gardens using public transportation, start at the Ankeny Transit stop at Ankeny City Hall. Take the DART bus route 1A towards Des Moines. Get off at the stop at 42nd St and University Ave. From there, transfer to the DART bus route 3B towards Ames. Ride until you reach the stop at 1400 University Blvd. From the bus stop, walk a short distance northeast on University Blvd, and you will find Reiman Gardens at 1407 University Blvd.

  If you are in Ankeny and want to walk to Reiman Gardens, begin at the Ankeny Public Library. Head south on SW 3rd St until you reach the intersection with SW 9th St. Turn left onto SW 9th St and continue until you reach the intersection with SE Delaware Ave. Turn right onto SE Delaware Ave and follow it south until you reach the intersection with US-69. Cross over to US-69 and continue south for approximately 9 miles until you arrive in Ames. Once in Ames, turn right onto University Blvd. Reiman Gardens will be on your left at 1407 University Blvd.
