Getting There

  • Walking

    Start at the Burlington Public Library located at 210 Court St. Head east on Court St toward Main St. Turn left onto Main St and continue north. After about 0.5 miles, you will reach the intersection with Jefferson St. Cross Jefferson St and continue straight onto N 4th St. After another 0.2 miles, you will see the Burlington Depot on your left. This is a good place to rest or grab a snack if needed. From the Depot, walk along the riverfront path heading northeast until you reach the intersection with Washington St. Turn right onto Washington St. Follow Washington St for 0.4 miles until you reach the intersection with N 6th St. Turn left onto N 6th St and keep walking for another 0.3 miles until you reach the bus station. From here, take the Greyhound Bus heading towards Waitsfield. The bus journey will take approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes.

  • Public Transportation

    Begin at the Burlington Transit Center located at 900 N 4th St. Board the Route 2 bus heading towards the North End. Stay on the bus for about 15 minutes and get off at the stop at Main St & N 5th St. Walk east on Main St until you reach the intersection with N 4th St. Here, you will transfer to the Route 1 bus towards the South End. Ride this bus for about 20 minutes until you reach the stop at the intersection with Washington St. From here, change to the Route 4 bus heading towards Waitsfield. This bus will take approximately 1 hour to reach your destination. Be sure to check the Burlington Transit schedule for the latest departure times.

  • Bicycle

    If you prefer cycling, start at the Burlington City Hall located at 400 Washington St. Rent a bike from a nearby bike rental shop. Head south on Washington St and turn left onto Main St. Follow Main St for about 1 mile. When you reach the intersection with N 6th St, turn right and continue for another 0.5 miles until you see the bike path that runs alongside the river. Take the bike path heading northeast for about 3 miles, until you get to the intersection with N 4th St. Turn left onto N 4th St, and continue for an additional 0.5 miles until you arrive at the Burlington Depot. Lock your bike here and take the Greyhound Bus towards Waitsfield. The bus ride will take approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes.
