Start at the Cedar Rapids Public Library located at 375 2nd Ave SE. Take the Linn County Transit Bus Route 8 towards the northeast. Stay on the bus for approximately 25 minutes. Get off at the 'Seventh Avenue and Seminole Valley Trail' stop. From there, it is a short 15-minute walk northwest on Seminole Valley Trail until you reach Ushers Ferry Historic Village at 5925 Seminole Valley Trail NE.
Bicycle
If you have access to a bicycle, you can start at downtown Cedar Rapids and head north. Follow 1st St NE until you reach the intersection with 1st Ave NE. Turn left and continue north on 1st Ave NE. After about 1.5 miles, turn right onto Seminole Valley Trail. Continue on this road for about 2 miles until you arrive at Ushers Ferry Historic Village at 5925 Seminole Valley Trail NE.
Walking
If you are walking from downtown Cedar Rapids, head north on 1st St NE until you reach 1st Ave NE. Turn left and continue north on 1st Ave NE until you reach the intersection with Seminole Valley Trail. Turn right onto Seminole Valley Trail and walk for approximately 2 miles. Ushers Ferry Historic Village will be on your left at 5925 Seminole Valley Trail NE.
