From the downtown area of Council Bluffs, head to the nearest bus stop located at 16th St & Broadway. Take the Metro Area Transit bus route 2 towards the South Omaha area. Ride until you reach the stop at 24th St & Ave G. Once you disembark, head south on 24th St for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Thallas St. Turn left onto Thallas St. Continue walking for about 0.2 miles, and you will arrive at the entrance of Vincent Bluff State Preserve located at 2200 Thallas St.
Bicycle
If you are cycling in Council Bluffs, start at the Pottawattamie County Courthouse. Head south on 6th St towards the West Broadway. Turn left onto West Broadway and continue for about 1 mile until you reach 24th St. Turn right onto 24th St and travel for about 0.5 miles. Turn left onto Thallas St and cycle for about 0.2 miles to reach the Vincent Bluff State Preserve entrance at 2200 Thallas St.
Walking
If you're walking from the area near the Council Bluffs Public Library, start by heading west on Willow Ave toward 16th St. After about 0.3 miles, turn left onto 16th St and continue until you reach South Ave. Turn right onto South Ave and walk for about 0.4 miles until it intersects with Thallas St. Turn left onto Thallas St and walk approximately 0.2 miles to reach the entrance of Vincent Bluff State Preserve at 2200 Thallas St.
