If you are in downtown Des Moines, start at the Iowa Events Center, located at 730 3rd St. Walk east on 3rd St towards E 5th St. Continue walking for about 6 blocks until you reach E 5th St. Turn left onto E 5th St and walk for about 3 blocks. The Des Moines Heritage Trust / East Union Depot will be on your right at 120 E 5th St.

If you are near the Central Library, you can catch a bus from the 'Library' stop. Take the DART Bus Route 60 towards East 42nd St. Ride for approximately 10 minutes and get off at the '5th & Walnut' stop. After exiting the bus, walk east on Walnut St for 1 block, then turn left onto E 5th St. Walk for about 2 blocks, and you will see the Des Moines Heritage Trust / East Union Depot at 120 E 5th St.

If you have access to a bike, start from the Gray's Lake Park area. Follow the bike path north towards Downtown Des Moines.
