Start at the Dubuque Intermodal Transportation Center located at 950 Elm St, Dubuque. Take the local bus route that heads towards the outskirts of the city. Once you get off the bus at the nearest stop to Laudeville Rd, walk along Laudeville Rd heading southeast. Barrelhead Winery is located at 9995 Laudeville Rd, which is approximately a 20-minute walk from the bus stop.

Start from the downtown area and head towards the Mississippi River on Main St. Continue to follow the riverfront trail, which will eventually lead you to Laudeville Rd. Once on Laudeville Rd, continue biking southeast until you reach 9995 Laudeville Rd, where Barrelhead Winery is located. The total biking distance is about 7 miles, and it should take you around 30-40 minutes.
Walking
For those who enjoy a leisurely walk, begin your journey at the Dubuque Museum of Art, located in downtown Dubuque. Head south on Locust St until you reach the intersection with 9th St, then turn left. Continue on 9th St, which will take you to the outskirts of the city. From there, follow the signs towards Laudeville Rd. The walk is approximately 4 miles and will take about 1.5 hours. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring water, as some parts of the route may be busy with traffic.
