Head north on Clinton St and turn left onto E Washington St. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with S Gilbert St. Turn right on S Gilbert St and walk until you reach the Coralville Public Library. Cross the bridge over the Iowa River, and once you are on the other side, continue straight onto 1st Ave. Follow 1st Ave and then turn left onto E 9th St. Walk straight until you reach the intersection with Prairie Du Chien Rd NE. Turn right onto Prairie Du Chien Rd NE. Continue to walk straight for approximately 1 mile until you reach the Devonian Fossil Gorge entrance at 2850 Prairie Du Chien Rd NE.

From the Iowa City Downtown District (200 S Clinton St, Iowa City, IA 52240), walk to the nearest bus stop located at the corner of Washington St and Clinton St. Take the Coralville Transit bus route #6 (Red Route) heading towards Coral Ridge Mall. Get off at the stop named 'Prairie Du Chien Rd NE and 1st Ave.' Once you disembark, walk north on Prairie Du Chien Rd NE for about 0.5 miles. The Devonian Fossil Gorge will be on your left at 2850 Prairie Du Chien Rd NE.
