If you are starting from the center of Newton, head east on 1st Avenue E towards E 3rd Street N. Continue on 1st Avenue E until you reach the intersection with E 12th Street N. Turn left onto E 12th Street N and walk straight until you reach the intersection with N 3rd Avenue E. Turn right onto N 3rd Avenue E and continue walking until you reach US-80. Cross US-80 carefully and continue walking straight. After crossing the bridge, take a left onto E 16th Street N, then a right onto N 4th Avenue E. Follow this road until you reach the location at 159 Derby St, Salem, MA 01970.

From the Newton Transit Center, board the bus heading towards the nearest train station. You will need to transfer at the station to catch a train to Salem. Once on the train, enjoy the scenic ride. After arriving at the Salem station, exit and find the local bus service that can take you towards Derby Street. Get off at the nearest stop to 159 Derby St, and walk the remaining distance to the Salem Arts Association.
