Driving
Maquoketa Caves State Park is located approximately 7 miles northwest of Maquoketa, Iowa. From Maquoketa, head north on Highway 61 for about 1 mile, then turn west onto County Road Y-31. Continue for 6 miles and turn west onto 98th Street, which leads directly into the park. Parking is available within the park, but it is limited, especially on weekends and during peak hours (11 AM to 4 PM). It is advisable to arrive early or visit during the week to secure a parking spot. Parking is free.
