Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from downtown Sioux City, begin at the Sioux City Public Library located at 529 Pierce St. Head west on Pierce St towards 6th St. Turn right on 6th St and continue walking until you reach Nebraska St. Turn left on Nebraska St and continue until you arrive at 4th St. From 4th St, turn right and walk until you reach the intersection with Riverside Blvd. Cross Riverside Blvd and continue straight on 4th St. Follow 4th St until you reach the intersection with Talbot Rd. Turn left onto Talbot Rd, and Stone State Park will be on your right at 5001 Talbot Rd.

    To reach Stone State Park using public transit, start at the Sioux City Transit bus stop near the Sioux City Public Library. Take Bus Route 4 (Morningside) from the library stop. Stay on the bus for approximately 15 minutes and get off at the Talbot Rd & 5th St stop. From there, it is a short walk (about 10 minutes) to Stone State Park. Head east on Talbot Rd, and the park entrance will be on your left at 5001 Talbot Rd.
