From anywhere in Urbandale, find the nearest bus stop with the DART (Des Moines Area Regional Transit) service. Take the Route 3 bus towards Downtown Des Moines. The bus will take you directly towards the downtown area. After approximately 30-40 minutes, get off at the 'W 2nd St & Walnut St' stop. From there, walk west on Walnut St for about 0.3 miles until you reach the intersection with W River Dr. Turn left on W River Dr, and you will find Rotary Riverwalk Park on your right.

If you prefer biking, you can rent a bike from a local bike-sharing service. Start from your location in Urbandale and head southeast towards the bike paths leading to Des Moines. Follow the bike trails that lead towards the downtown area. Once you reach the downtown area, navigate towards W River Dr. The park is located at 821 W River Dr, just off the main bike paths.
