From May to September, the zoo becomes home to animals generously donated by a local farmer, including goats, donkeys, chickens, ducks, cats, dogs, and even peacocks. From downtown Waterloo, head north on Ansborough Avenue. The National Cattle Congress grounds will be on your left. Turn into the grounds and follow the signs to the Sunrise Children's Zoo.
