Public Transport
From the center of Baghdad, head to Al-Nasr Square (Sahat Al-Nasr). Look for bus number 14 or 15, which frequently travels towards Al-Adhamiya. The bus fare is minimal. Once you reach the Al-Adhamiya area, disembark at the nearest stop to the Al-Askari Shrine, which is a prominent landmark. From there, you can ask locals for directions to المسنايا, which is only a short walk away.
Taxi
Taxis are readily available in Baghdad. Negotiate the fare before starting your journey. A taxi ride from Baghdad city center to Al-Adhamiya typically costs around IQD 23,325. Ride-sharing apps like Careem are also available. Confirm the location with the driver before starting the trip.
Walking
If you are already in the Al-Adhamiya area, you can walk to المسنايا. Start at the Al-Askari Shrine and head southeast on Al-Mashtal Street. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection with Al-Mansour Street. Turn left and walk for another 500 meters. You will see signs for المسنايا. The walk should take around 15-20 minutes and will provide you with a feel of the local neighborhood.
