Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the Al-Mustafa Mosque, head southeast on Al-Mustafa Street. Continue walking for about 1 km until you reach the intersection with Al-Jadiriya Street. Turn left onto Al-Jadiriya Street. Walk straight for another 1 km, and you will see الباب الشرقي on your right, just before the intersection with Al-Saadoun Street.

    From the Baghdad International Museum, exit the museum and turn left onto Al-Adhamiya Street. Walk for approximately 1.5 km until you reach the roundabout at Al-Saadoun Street. Take the exit towards Al-Saadoun Street and continue for about 800 meters. الباب الشرقي will be on your left.

    From Tahrir Square, you can take a local bus heading towards Al-Saadoun Street. Board any bus that displays 'Al-Saadoun' as its destination.
