Walking
Start at the center of Dohuk, near the main market (Bazaar). Head north on the main road, following the signs towards the Dohuk Fortress. After around 1 km, you will reach a roundabout. Take the second exit to stay on the main road. Continue walking for another 1.5 km until you reach the entrance to the Dohuk Valley. This area is marked by local shops and cafes. Keep walking straight into the valley, where you will start to see signs pointing towards ‘Sîlava Gelîyê Dûhokê’. It is approximately a 30-minute walk from the roundabout to the waterfall.

From the center of Dohuk, locate the nearest bus stop and catch a local minibus that is heading towards ‘Dohuk Valley’ or any bus with a destination sign indicating the valley or nearby attractions.
