Starting from Erbil city center, head southwest on 60th Street towards 1st Ring Road. Continue on 1st Ring Road until you reach the intersection with the road leading to Khalifan. Turn left onto the Khalifan road (also known as the Erbil-Khalifan Road) and follow it for approximately 25 kilometers. Keep an eye on road signs indicating Khalifan and وادي الموت (Wadi al-Mawt). As you approach Khalifan, you will see signs pointing towards وادي الموت. Once in Khalifan, use GPS coordinates (36.6300774, 44.4563524) to navigate directly to وادي الموت. There are no tolls on this route.

From Erbil city center, you can take a shared taxi or minibus to Khalifan. Look for a minibus terminal or shared taxi stand near the main bazaar. The fare is typically around 2,000 IQD ($1.50) per person. The journey will take about 30-40 minutes depending on traffic. Once you arrive in Khalifan, you can either walk or take a local taxi to reach Wadi Al-Mout, which is approximately 5 minutes away from the main drop-off point.
