From central Erbil, take a local minibus or taxi towards the Christian neighborhoods in Ankawa. Inform the driver that you want to go to the Syriac Orthodox Church. The fare for the minibus should be around 1,000 IQD. The taxi fare will be more, make sure to negotiate with the driver before you get in. From where the bus drops you off, it's a short walk to the church.
