To reach Kharand via public transport, start at the bus station in Erbil (Hawler). Look for buses heading to Rawanduz, usually marked with 'Rawanduz' on the front. The bus journey takes approximately 1-2 hours, depending on traffic. Upon arriving in Rawanduz, take a taxi or local minibus towards Kharand.
