If driving from central Baghdad, head southeast on Al-Mansur Street toward Al-Jadriya Bridge. Cross the bridge and continue straight on Al-Mansur Street until the intersection with Al-Mahmoudiya Road (Route 8). Turn right onto Al-Mahmoudiya Road and follow it for about 15 kilometers. Look for signs indicating 'Tel Hermal' or 'Historical Landmark'. The fort is located on the 'Unnamed Road' in the Ghadeer area. Ample parking is available near the fort.

To reach Tel Hermal Fort via public transport, take a bus from Tahrir Square in central Baghdad to the Ghadeer district for approximately 500 IQD. Buses to Ghadeer are frequent. From Ghadeer, take a taxi to the fort, which is about 1 kilometer away. Alternatively, take a taxi or microbus from central Baghdad to the Al-Mahmoudiya area. The microbus fare is around 500-1000 IQD. From Al-Mahmoudiya, a taxi to the fort should cost approximately 2000-3000 IQD. Ensure the driver knows the location: 'Unnamed Road, Ghadeer'.
