Taxi

Samî Abdulrahman Park, named after the former Deputy Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government who was killed in a 2004 suicide bombing, is a symbol of peace and regeneration in Erbil. The park spans 200 hectares (487 acres) and provides a green escape from the city.Originally the location of Saddam Hussein's 5th Corps Army military base, the park's transformation began in 1998, opening to the public in 2000. Today, it welcomes thousands of visitors daily, offering a variety of attractions and activities. Visitors can explore the rose garden, relax by one of the two lakes, or visit the Martyr's Monument, which bears the inscription, "Freedom is not free".The park features walking and jogging paths, playgrounds, sports facilities, and picnic areas, making it a popular destination for families and fitness enthusiasts.
