To reach The Tree of Knowledge via public transport, take a bus or shared taxi to Al Qurnah. From Basra, buses leave frequently from the main bus station for approximately 1,000 IQD. Ask the driver to drop you off at the Al-Qurnah Floating Bridge (جسر القرنه العائم). From there, it is a short walk to the Tree of Knowledge.

If you prefer a taxi, you can hire one from Basra. Agree on a fare before starting the journey; it should cost around 15,000 IQD to reach Al Qurnah. The driver will take you directly to the floating bridge, where you can easily access The Tree of Knowledge. From other cities a taxi can be hired. A taxi from Baghdad to Najaf is between $70-$100.
