From the Inisheer ferry pier, head east along the main road. Follow the road for approximately 20 minutes, keeping an eye out for signs directing you towards An Loch Mór. The walk offers scenic views of the island's landscape.
Bicycle Rental
Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops near the pier. Cycle east from the pier along the main road, following signs for An Loch Mór. The journey takes about 10 minutes, allowing you to enjoy the scenery. Bicycle rental typically costs around €10-€15 for a few hours.
Ferry
To reach An Loch Mór, take a ferry from Doolin or Rossaveal to Inisheer Island. Doolin ferries operate seasonally (April - October), with a 15-minute sailing time. Rossaveal ferries operate year-round, with a 55-minute sailing time. A round-trip ferry ticket from Doolin costs approximately €32 for adults. Ferry tickets from Rossaveal can be booked online.
