    From Athlone, head to the Athlone Bus Station located at 6-9 Church St, Athlone, Co. Westmeath. Take a bus towards Birr or Ferbane. Check the bus schedule and make sure to get a bus that stops at Lismoney. The bus ride will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Get off at the nearest stop to Lismoney, which is typically Lismoney Cross. From there, head east on Ballyshane Rd for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach Kinnitty Pyramid, which will be on your left.

    If you prefer walking from Athlone, you can start at the Athlone Castle. Head east on the River Shannon path until you reach the town center. From there, head to Church St and find the bus station. Alternatively, you can walk to the entrance of the Lismoney area, which is approximately 9 kilometers away. This would take around 2 hours on foot, so plan accordingly. Once you reach the Lismoney area, follow Ballyshane Rd to your left until you see the Kinnitty Pyramid.
