    Public Transport

    From Dublin city center, take bus routes 11, 26, 37, 38, 39 or 99 to the Dublin Zoo stop. A single fare typically costs €3. Alternatively, take the Luas Red Line to Heuston Station and walk approximately 20 minutes to the zoo. A Luas ticket from the city center to Heuston Station costs between €1 and €2.

    A taxi from Dublin city center to Dublin Zoo takes approximately 10-15 minutes, depending on traffic. The estimated fare is between €11 and €16. Taxis are readily available throughout the city center.

    Walking

    From Heuston Station, Dublin Zoo is approximately a 20-minute walk. Exit the station and follow the signs for Phoenix Park. Enter the park and continue along the main road until you reach the zoo entrance. There are no specific costs associated with walking.

    If driving from the M50, enter Phoenix Park through Ashtown Gate and turn left onto North Road. Follow North Road to the zoo entrance. Parking is free but limited. Additional parking is available at Lord's Walk car park beside Dublin Zoo and the Cricket Grounds car park opposite the Zoo. There are no toll roads on the immediate final approach.
