Getting There

  • Bus

    From Drogheda, head to the Drogheda Bus Station located at 1-2 Fair Street. Look for the Bus Éireann service heading towards Dublin. Board the bus and stay on for about 30-40 minutes until you reach Busáras (Dublin Central Bus Station). Once you arrive, exit the station and head towards Bus Stop 4 to catch the 37 or 38 bus towards Phoenix Park. Get off at the 'Phoenix Park' stop, and you will be within walking distance of Áras an Uachtaráin.

  • Train and Bus

    Make your way to Drogheda Train Station located at 1-2 Railway Street. Purchase a ticket for a train heading to Dublin. The journey will take about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Dublin Connolly Station, exit and walk to Busáras, which is about a 10-minute walk. From Busáras, take the 37 or 38 bus towards Phoenix Park. Disembark at the 'Phoenix Park' stop, then walk a short distance to reach Áras an Uachtaráin.

  • Walking

    If you find yourself near the town center of Drogheda, you can start from the Market Square. Head west along West Street until you reach the River Boyne. Cross the river via the Boyne Viaduct and continue straight on to the Dublin Road. Follow this road until you reach the bus station, and then take the bus to Dublin as previously described. Note that walking directly to Áras an Uachtaráin from Drogheda is not feasible due to the distance.
